A note about your email and cookies.

What we collect

The early-interest form saves your email address, your chosen language, the date you joined, and the version of the signup consent you agreed to. Please use a parent’s or grown-up’s email. We don’t ask for a child’s name, age, school, or other personal details.

Why we collect it

With your consent, to share Snooplet project updates and invite you to try early printable case files in your chosen language. Joining the list does not create a child account or commit you to buying anything. No automatic confirmation email is sent at this stage.

Your language choice

For a first visit, the hosting service’s IP-based country signal selects Romanian for Romania and English elsewhere. You can change language using RO / EN without accepting preference cookies. Your choice is carried in the page URL. If you allow preferences, a cookie remembers your language for one year and takes priority over country detection when there is no explicit language in the URL. We do not save your IP address in the interest list or send it to an additional geolocation service.

Cookies and your choices

snooplet_cookie_consent is necessary to remember your decision for 6 months. The optional snooplet_language cookie stores your language for one year and is set only after you allow preferences. Choosing Necessary only, or switching preferences off, removes the language cookie. No analytics or advertising cookies are used. If you sign in, the hosting service may use necessary authentication cookies. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer or below at any time to change your choice.

Protecting the signup form

To prevent automated abuse, new signups are limited using a hashed version of the network IP address and a timestamp, stored separately from the interest list. We do not store the raw IP in these records. Limits cover the previous hour and 24 hours; older records no longer count and are removed in small batches when later submissions arrive. If there are no later submissions, expired records may remain until traffic resumes.

Where it goes

The list is stored in the website’s hosted database. The site owner can view and export it for the purposes above. We do not sell the interest list or use it for advertising. This page has no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The hosting service may process routine request data to operate the website. Fonts are served directly by this website.

Change your mind?

To withdraw your consent and leave the list, correct your address, or ask about your information, email radu@thefancydragon.com with ‘Snooplet interest list’ in the subject. You can request removal at any time. We will retain the list while developing and launching Snooplet unless you ask us to remove your entry.
